The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is the most significant and widely celebrated holiday in China. It holds the same cultural importance as Christmas does in the West and is a time for family reunions, reflection, and hope for a prosperous year ahead.

In 2025, the Chinese Lunar New Year falls on January 29, marking the beginning of the Year of the Snake. This festival is celebrated by millions globally, featuring traditional customs, cultural performances, and symbolic practices meant to bring good luck, happiness, and prosperity.

Celebrate at Fed Square!

Join in the vibrant Lunar New Year celebrations at Fed Square, where exciting cultural events, performances, and festive activities will take place to welcome the Year of the Snake. Our Tai Chi demonstration will be the first activity starting at 12 noon. Please come along and join us!
